Still In The Woods kehren nach drei Jahren Pause mit viel frischer Energie zurück auf die Bühne! Ihre einzigartige Mischung aus Neo-Soul und Indietronica zieht das Publikum seit 2015 mit fetten Grooves, komplexen Klangwelten und einer ebenso kraftvoll-souligen wie zarten Stimme in ihren Bann. Nach ihren von der Presse (u.a. ZEITmagazin und WDR) gefeierten Alben „Rootless Tree“ und „Flying Waves“ und vielen Konzerten im In- und Ausland, legte die Band zuletzt eine mehrjährige Konzertpause ein.
Die in dieser Zeit veröffentlichte neue EP „What‘s Next“ ist dabei Frage und Versprechen zugleich: Was als Nächstes kommt, ist nämlich nie so ganz sicher bei Still In The Woods. Man darf gespannt sein.
Still In The Woods are returning to the stage with plenty of fresh energy after a three-year break! Their unique blend of neo-soul and indietronica has been captivating audiences since 2015 with fat grooves, complex soundscapes and a voice that is as powerful and soulful as it is tender. After their albums "Rootless Tree" and "Flying Waves", which were acclaimed by the press (including ZEITmagazin and WDR) and many concerts in Germany and abroad, the band recently took a break from concerts for several years.
The new EP "What's Next" released during this time is both a question and a promise: What comes next is never quite certain with Still In The Woods. We're looking forward and stay curious.

Still In The Woods combine modern neo-soul with indietronica. Fat grooves meet soulful singing and complex sound worlds.
Founded in Berlin in Autumn 2015, the four-piece band has developed into one of the most active formations on the Leipzig and Berlin music scene over the past few years.
The two albums ‚Rootless Tree‘ (2018) and ‚Flying Waves‘ (2019) were first milestones and were enthusiastically received by the press (including ZEITmagazin, WDR, ORF, Jazz thing):
‚[Still In The Woods] seem to soak up everything that reaches their ears and from it to establish a musical home for themselves. […] The debut album recounts -in sound and word- of unboundness, of wistful backward glances and of the search for the new.‘ (kulturtipp, Switzerland)
In addition, the four won their audience on extensive tours throughout Germany and Europe as well as at numerous festivals. After exciting years, the band has withdrawn to a limited extent and intensively developed new material.
