Hemma

Hemma comes from a family of singers and has spent the last decade carving her own path as a songwriter in the country and folk tradition. Sometimes with a full band, many times a soloist, she captivates the audience with a stunning voice that paints a pastoral longing passed down from artists like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. A balladeer singing original songs that ring true across genres as vast as bluegrass to jazz.

Members of the Hemma band have included players from Bon Iver, and Field Report and she's opened for The Cactus Blossoms, S. Carey and Barbaro.

Her debut full length album Abalone Sky will be released in November and was produced by Sean Carey in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
