On 8/8 (Aug. 8), Six String Society presents Taimane for the eighth time in southern California with Taimane and her band performing at The Center Theatre at California Center for the Arts in Escondido - an exquisite, intimate concert venue. San Diego duo Jimmy & Enrique will open the show with their wonderful and fiery mix of acoustic rhythms and melodies. It's been five years since Six String Society presented this exact lineup to a packed house at Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, a night many called one of the greatest nights of music of the year. Taimane was voted the 2023 and 2019 Na Hoku Hanohano Favorite Entertainer of the Year and has become one of the musical and cultural torchbearers of Hawai‘i selling out concerts around the world.
