Boiler Beach

The Municipality of Kincardine and Visit Kincardine present a fun filled day to kick-off the season and wake up the downtown core! We have a day full of community activities for everyone. A traditional fire-keeper will keep a fire throughout the day. 10a.m.- 12p.m. Indigenous Learning Circle teaching the significance of the sunrise & sunset. All are welcome! Don't forget your lawn chair. 12p.m.- 4p.m. -A smudging ceremony and greetings from the mayor will commence the opening of the Welcome Centre at the Kincardine Centre for Performing Arts. Cupcakes for all! -Boiler Beach will be onsite at Victoria Park to host a youth talent showcase and play some songs of their own. -Food vendors will be set-up at the park($). -Community groups will be set with family-friendly activities and information. -There will be a community yoga class with Eric from Shakti Rhythm Yoga. -Muralist Lambertus De Graaf will be giving informative walking tours of downtown mural work he has completed. -Blinky will be there! -Community art project... more details to come! 8p.m.- 9p.m. The Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band will play at Victoria Park.
