Een concert met gitarist + backing vocals Marcel Coenen , enkele gastzangers en band! Dat belooft een onvergetelijke ervaring te worden, waarbij de muziek tot leven komt met een mix van bekende hits en vette covers!
Na het uitbrengen van zijn meest recente album "Resurrection" heeft Marcel Coenen zijn band "Marcel Coenen & Friends" opnieuw samengesteld, waardoor een frisse energie en nieuwe dynamiek aan de optredens worden toegevoegd. De band, bestaande uit getalenteerde muzikanten zoals drummer Hans In T Zandt , gitarist David Maes , toetsenist Rene Kroon en bassist Richard Ritterbeeks , zal een boeiende selectie ten gehore brengen uit Marcel's drie soloalbums, aangevuld met enkele opwindende covers die het publiek zeker zullen verrassen en meenemen op een muzikale reis door verschillende genres en stijlen. Naast Marcel's meesterlijke gitaarspel en zijn subtiele achtergrondzang, zullen ook enkele gastzangers , waaronder Jos Severens, Pascal Remans, Sascha Burchardt en Esther Brouns , deel uitmaken van de avond. Met hun unieke stemmen en interpretaties voegen zij een extra dimensie toe aan de al bruisende setlist, waarbij zowel vocale nummers als instrumentale stukken aan bod zullen komen.

Started playing guitar when he was 10, he learned a lot of guitar related techniques, theory and improvisation from different teachers and from a lot of self-study. All this contributed to making him the guitarist he is today.
Marcel is known for his virtuous capabilities on the guitar and for his mind blowing work in his previous prog metal bands SUN CAGED and LEMUR VOICE. With both bands he had quite some remarkable success and played shows all over the world.
Currently Marcel is active in a few bands, works as a guitar teacher and producer. Throughout his career Marcel has been asked by several musicians to play together with them on tours, worked on recordings and song writing.
