Veiila

VEiiLA is a left-field electronica duo of Vif Nüte (vocals, synthesizers, guitars) and Bes Eirid (keyboards, sound). Their music is a tasteful blend of down-tempo, trip-hop and house with sensual female vocals. VEiiLA’s songs are based on personal introspective lyrics and ethereal atmospheric delivery, which the band describes simply as “music for introverts”. VEiiLA’s shows are the essence of elegant live electronica: the band creates their music in front of the audience by playing a selection of keyboards, samplers, electric guitar and eloquently manipulating live vocal looping. Whenever possible, VEiiLA augment their show with conceptual live visuals making every performance a unique multidimensional experience. With their music suitable both for chill-out and dance floor, the duo had performed at massive open-airs, headlined independent music festivals, opened for Kosheen, Alex Clare and The Neighborhood, participated in fashion openings, poetry performances as well as underground techno parties.
