The celebrated podcast Song Exploder comes to The Ford for a one-of-a-kind evening of music and conversation featuring Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields. Merritt joins host Hrishikesh Hirway to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band's opus, 69 Love Songs, by deconstructing some of the iconic tracks, followed by an intimate solo performance. This event will not be recorded, so this is your only chance to experience this special evening.
This program is a collaboration with the LA Phil Insight initiative, generously supported by Linda and David Shaheen.

Biographie de Hrishikesh Hirway
Hrishikesh Hirway released four albums under the name The One AM Radio between 2002–2011. After a long hiatus brought on by writer's block and self-doubt (during which time he created and hosted the award-winning music podcast and Netflix television series Song Exploder), he released his first EP under his own name in 2022.
