Tom first came to the DC Improv as a feature act, and we were blown away by his energy, writing and personal story -- he's the son of a deadbeat Indian dad and a hardworking, Red Lobster managing mom. You've heard him hosting shows on SiriusXM, you've seen him on "Conan" and Comedy Central. He was one of the first comics to headline our club when we reopened in 2021, and now he's back for two Friday shows.

Tom Thakkar is a comedian you've seen on The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, CONAN, Are You Garbage, We Might Be Drunk, Doug Loves Movies, the Comedy Cellar, and more! With the unique background of being the son of a deadbeat Indian father he never met, while growing up in Indiana with an all white family, his goofy while dark comedy is a hit everywhere he goes.
