Armano

Armano is a genuine storyteller with whiskey on his breath and the road on his mind. The
man is a barfly and when he was forced to stay away from his natural habitat in 2020, the
bandleader of Oporto and The See See Riders would sit down, imagine a live audience in a
smokey honky tonk and sing his songs into a microphone plugged into a tape machine.
The outcome of these recording sessions are thirteen songs released on the two EPs “5
Miles Down The Dirt Road” (2021) and “When The Clock Strikes 4” (2022). Highly
influenced by early Blues and American Roots Music Armano's songs stand in the tradition
of people like Frank Stokes, Charley Patton and Junior Kimbrough and take you to
forgotten places you didn't even know you had missed!
