ISHA (NL)

ISHA is a 23-year-old producer, artist and multi-instrumentalist based between Amsterdam and London. Her fresh funk beats with a rare-groove appeal characterized by strong bass lines see influences from the 70's and 80's funk, hip-hop, and jazz scene, but also modern-day acts like SG Lewis, Jungle and FKJ.

ISHA’s debut EP ‘Bending Colours’ released on UK imprint JuiceboxFM in 2023 received upfront support from BBC 1 Xtra, Jamz Supernova and Foundation FM amongst others. With her one woman solo live-set ISHA started touring the Netherlands and the UK in the same year, playing stages like London Jazz Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event and Eurosonic Noorderslag. As a developing artist and bass player she got the opportunity to support artists like Adi Oasis Young Franco and Franc Moody.

In her new EP the young producer and bass player is taking charge of her own journey. While collaborating with male musicians like Joe Hertz, Alfie Neale and MAX RAD the female producer is experimenting with her own creative boundaries by featuring as a vocalist herself on two of the five singles. The EP, titled ‘What You’re Seeing’, will be released in August 2024 and showcases her vision of ‘musical connection and open collaborations driven by pure joy’.
