WANHEDA is not your average postrockband. Ze putten uit een wijde waaier aan invloeden, gaande van bluesrock, jazz en klassiek gitaarwerk tot post-metal. Het resultaat is een zorgvuldig samengestelde, eigen sound die de geduldige luisteraar naar epische climaxen brengt.

Een ambient instrumentaal post-rock project van de Engelse muzikant Pete Barnes (Utrecht, NL). Het nieuwe album Circles is de opvolger van 2022's debuut A Spectral Moon, gebaseerd op een ernstig fietsongeluk dat Barnes in november 2020 letterlijk in verwarring katapulteerde. Biographie de Wanheda
Formed in 2016, the Belgian six-piece rose from obscurity in just a few years with the release of The Cenozoic Implosion in April 2018. Since then, the band has played live incessantly in support of the release, touring in and around Belgium and playing at dunk!festival in 2019. In 2022 they released their debut LP 'Desert of Real'. Ranging from ominous to deceptively beautiful Desert of Real takes the listener through a vast range of moods that find their reflection in a wide array of influences, from traditional post-rock to post-metal, and from blues rock to classical guitar music.
