De Nederlandse pianist/componist Jeroen Granneman kreeg het afgelopen jaar landelijke bekendheid met zijn neoklassieke pianomuziek.
Wereldwijd genieten honderdduizenden mensen van zijn rustgevende pianomuziek via Spotify tijdens het studeren, lezen of werken. Zijn singles ‘White Butterfly’ en Florence werden samen al meer dan 23 miljoen keer beluisterd.
Hij speelt al jaren op bruiloften en feesten in allerlei stijlen, maar sinds hij in 2022 zijn eigen pianocomposities op TikTok zette is het balletje gaan rollen. Afgelopen jaar verscheen zijn debuutalbum HOME waarmee hij terugkeert naar de basis: solo piano. “Alleen achter de piano is voor mij muziek maken in de puurste vorm”.
Via streaming platforms deelt hij zijn muziek inmiddels met de gehele wereld, maar hij laat zijn pianomuziek nu ook steeds vaker live op het podium horen. Op dit moment werkt hij aan zijn tweede album. De release staat gepland voor het najaar van 2024.
Zijn muziek laat je voor even stilstaan en de drukte van alledag vergeten. Tussen de stukken door vertelt Jeroen het persoonlijke verhaal achter de noten.

Jeroen Granneman is a Dutch neoclassical pianist, composer, and music teacher. His piano compositions, characterized by melodious lines and beautiful harmonies, have garnered more than 40 million streams worldwide. In addition to his work as a pianist, he runs his own music school and performs regularly.
Interestingly, Jeroen's musical interest in his youth was in a completely different genre: eurodance. Inspired by the energetic beats and synthesizers of the 90s, he dreamed of creating that kind of music himself. Although his musical path eventually took a different direction, his love for catchy melodies and atmospheric music always remained.
What started as a hobby in his childhood bedroom grew into a serious musical ambition. Jeroen studied at the conservatory, where he specialized in improvised music. Improvisation has become the common thread in his musical life, both in his compositions and live performances. The freedom to create music on the spot and translate emotions directly into sound is what inspires him most as a pianist.
Alongside his conservatory studies, Jeroen also pursued a degree in Music Management. Despite his musical background, he initially chose a career outside of music and worked as a project manager at a large insurance company. Eventually, he realized that his true passion lay in music and decided to dedicate himself fully to it.
With his neoclassical piano music, Jeroen has reached a broad international audience. His compositions can be heard in major streaming playlists, contributing to his impressive growth as a pianist. Each month, he releases new piano pieces and performs them live at concerts.
In addition to his work as a pianist, Jeroen runs his own music school, where he teaches both children and adults. His lessons include keyboard, piano, songwriting, and music production.
