They excel at trance-like chiming pop and have been releasing music since 2009. Highlights include a Polaris Music Prize nomination and CBC/KEXP radio support. WFAL features; Larry Lechner(vocals and guitars), Kerry MacPherson ( guitars), David Charan (bass and vocals), and Jason Solyom (drums and percussion). They have 3 LPs, 1 EP and 7 recent singles across all platforms including Bandcamp. Asian Persuasion All Stars is a nine-piece ensemble featuring a who's who of Vancouver bands including; Eric Lowe (The Vanrays), Tony Lee (The Night Flower Orchestra), Tim Chan (China Syndrome), Tamla Mah (The Abel Collective), Brooke Fujiyama (Swimming Hammers), Kevin Tang (Camaro 67), Ron Yamauchi (The Night Flower Orchestra) and Norine Braun, (Norine Braun) and Mike Chang (China Syndrome).
