Indie-folk/pop singer-songwriter en multi-instrumentalist Melle vangt de magie van muziek in eerlijke en organisch klinkende nummers. Met grote passie zingt hij over liefde en verlies. Zijn melodieën blijven hangen en zijn teksten heel persoonlijk, vaak met een troostende boodschap. In Luxor Live zagen we hem al in het voorprogramma bij Douwe Bob; met zijn eigen show komt hij nu naar onze bovenzaal!
Melle houd van een analoge sfeer in zijn muziek en speelde zelf 23 verschillende instrumenten, waaronder een tzouras, balalaika, theremin, taishogoto en citer op zijn debuutalbum. Dit nostalgisch aanvoelende album getiteld ‘Memories That I Am’ bevat onder andere zijn Hitsingle ‘Run Run’. Zijn repertoire varieert van intieme, akoestische ballads, die doen denken aan artiesten zoals Phoebe Bridgers en Sufjan Stevens, tot energieke popliedjes die klinken als Sam Fender en Coldplay.

When 20-year old multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Melle starts telling his story, everything becomes clear. The way he translates the inexplicable magic of music into his songs can open your eyes and help you understand feelings you never understood before.
Ever since Melle fell in love with the sound of a cello at the age of five and started singing and writing his own songs, he has known that music is what makes him who he is. He’s determined to share that magic of music with everyone who’s willing to open their minds and listen.
His musical inspirations vary from acts like Ruben Hein and Tom Odell to long-established names like The Beatles, Queen and Coldplay. With a repertoire spanning from honest, acoustic songs to explosive band pieces he shows you what really matters in life. Recurring themes in his songs are love and the loss of someone dear.
