Mogelijk herken je hun geluid van Netflix original: ‘Ragnarok’, waaronder single ‘Only Your Sins’ geplaatst werd! De Deens-Nederlandse alternatieve rockband Subterranean Street Society brengt rauwe rock met een poëtisch randje en heeft met hun muziek de hele wereld al gezien.
Het trio verwerkt verschillende muziekstijlen in hun songs, met duidelijke invloeden van indie, folk, grunge en rock. Subterranean Street Society is veelzijdig en komt met sterke protestsongs waar je simpelweg niet omheen kunt. Het album BLEEP kwam op 8 maart uit en bevat spannende tracks met vuige riffs, sleazy swamp en uptempo vocal-rants. Ze stonden eerder in zalen van Merleyn tot Paradiso, tourden door Engeland en Indonesië en waren te zien op de Zwarte Cross. Tip voor liefhebbers van o.a. The Black Keys The Dandy Warhols, Nirvana en Big Thief.

Biographie de Subterranean Street Society
You may recognize their sound from the Netflix original 'Ragnarok', under which the single 'Only Your Sins Know' was placed, or you might have seen them live, chances are high. Subterranean Street Society doesn’t beat around the bush, the Danish-Dutch alternative rock band brings raw rock with a poetic edge and has seen most of the world through their music. The trio incorporates different genres into their songs and sound, with clear influences taken from indie, folk, grunge and rock. In 2023 they leave their melancholic sound behind and storm on with strong protest songs that you simply cannot ignore. On 'God Couldn't Save The Queen', singer Louis wonders why we still put royal families on a pedestal, and single 'Focus On The Melody' is a raging garage rock track about the dying attention span of modern society. That sets the tone for album 'BLEEP', which is coming on the 8th of March 2024, as well as what we can expect from Subterranean Street Society in the future.
