We’re thrilled to have Saskia Laroo and Warren Byrd as our artists in residence, featuring throughout the festival June 7-9 and performing on 'Lazy Sunday' with the Saskia Laroo Band. Experience live performances from international jazz and funk icons like Joseph 'Mr. Defunkt' Bowie and Kim Clarke, and enjoy the artistry of local stars such as Coen van Dam, Funky Ferd, and Steady Freddy. Laroo is a multi-instrumentalist, also playing vocals, alto saxophone, and upright bass.
Laroo leads several bands, including the Saskia Laroo Band, Jazzkia and Duo Laroo/Byrd.
