St. Kio

St. Kio is the moniker of Nicole Bandoquillo, a Filipino self taught multi-instrumentalist, artist, and producer hailing from Los Angeles. With her music, she hopes that marginalized people including femmes, BIPOC, queer people find happiness, comfort, and empowerment.

Incorporating nuances of pop, shoegaze, post-punk, new wave, grunge, and noise rock, St. Kio's musical compositions exude an undeniable allure. As an independent artist, St. Kio unhesitatingly delves into novel auditory realms, breaking conventional norms and setting avant-garde standards. On September 15, she released her highly anticipated debut EP, "SONGS TO DRIVE TO," which not only highlights her musical prowess but also her desire to take the reins in songwriting, production, performance, and engineering, emphasizing her holistic command over the artistic journey.
