The Sidekicks create music inspired by different musical greats and diverse music movements including blues, rock, soul, pop and jazz.
The songs - largely own work - are therefore not easy to put in a box. The typical 'Sidekicks sound' arises from various 'musical ingredients' that the band members have 'picked up' separately over the years and take to their home base Meulnhörn. Music, nature and friendship come together perfectly in this picturesque part of Groningen.
