Die chinesisch-irische Indie-Rockband Gilded Forest aus Beijing macht am Tag der Arbeit in Hannover Station. Die drei Band-Mitglieder habe sich 2021 zu Gilded Forest zusammengeschlossen, ihr erstes Album erschien 2022. Ihre selbstgeschriebenen Songs kombinieren Folk-Klänge, die Lead-Sängerin Queyue mit in die musikalische Ehe einbrachte, und die rockigen, elektronischen Sounds von Gitarrist David Carey.

gilded forest are an indie rock band formed in Beijing, China, and now spending their time in Berlin.
The band was established at the end of 2021, with their first self-titled EP released in April 2022.
They integrate the free-flowing rhythms of folk music, bringing them into a space filled with pulsating synthesisers and heavily distorted guitars, reimagining heartfelt ballads in a rock context.
gilded forest was shortlisted in the Top 30 musicians of the # Wild Hunt New Voice # program, cohosted by China’s Biede Records and Jägermeister. Their songs were also listed in U.K publication The Guardian’s Best Songs of 2022 list.
