AVLFest is a venue-based music festival returning to the Blue Ridge mountains August 1-4th, 2024.
Presented by Asheville-based Wicked Weed Brewing and Worthwhile Sounds, AVLFest will fill 20+ area concert halls, clubs, and outdoor venues alike with an exceptional multi-genre lineup of local, regional, and national talent.
Performances are set to take place throughout the 4-day festival with wristbands granting pass holders access to 200+ shows through the Asheville area.

Love Papadosio, seen them over the years many times. Love the venue (Infinity Hall), great sound, friendly staff, reasonable ticket & drink prices. This show was more of a crowd pleaser, smooth jazz esque, composed affair than the improvisation heavy, heavy psychedelia, flowing show from Fairfield the night before. But that's the nature of jambands, & in fact makes things interesting. Nevertheless, a fine time was had by all.

Falling somewhere between rock, jazz and electronic mayhem we find space rock. This is a genre that is not readily defined, and is a state of mind as much as it could be considered a genre. This range of frequencies is where Papadosio tends to spend their time, sometimes dining in deep space, and other times snacking right on your front porch. Papadosio strives to create music that is strangely familiar, and calls all walks of humanity to bask in a unique experience celebrating the one constant in an ever changing world: music.
