James Foster

Born and raised in the Bluegrass State of Somerset, Kentucky, James Foster was raised on the sounds of classic country, bluegrass, and southern gospel music growing up. He began his music career playing as a lead guitarist in many of the local groups around central Kentucky, and it wasn’t until 2022 where he made the decision to venture out on his own for a solo career.

His sound can be described as a blend of the fast country/ bluegrass guitar players such as Sturgill Simpson and Tony Rice with the Vocal Style from the likes of Keith Whitley and Waylon Jennings. He currently tours all over the central and east Kentucky area as well as many parts of Tennessee.
