Biographie de deux furieuses
Deux Furieuses (two furious women) are all about heartfelt politically charged songs and a visceral dual musical assault that leaves the room buzzing. At the vanguard of guitar/drum duos, Scottish vocalist/guitarist Ros Cairney and London/Greek drummer Vas Antoniadou have released three critically acclaimed albums. Their self released debut album Tracks of Wire, produced by Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey), captured the attention of Xtra Mile Recordings.
The band have toured in the UK with US punk feminists War On Women, label mates Frank Turner, Skinny Lister and The Fall legend Brix Smith.
My Bloody Valentine's Deb Googe headhunted the pair for Brix Smith's all female live band to support Killing Joke at Hammersmith Apollo and tour the UK with Public Image Limited.
Radio X's John Kennedy and Frank Turner are also big fans of the band with the latter inviting them to perform at Lost Evenings Festival at the Roundhouse. Other highlights include 2000 Trees, Kendal Calling and recently tearing the roof off Crocroland Festival, London and Right to Roam Festival, Bolton.
