Eve Selis has earned her fair share of honors—she’s won 7 San Diego Music Awards; the Jim Croce Award for Excellence in Music; May 31, 2008 was named Eve Selis Day by the city of San Diego; she was made an honorary Kentucky Colonel by the governor of Kentucky for her song “Russellville;” and in 2011 she played a benefit show with Tom Jones at Abbey Road Studios in London—but ask her what her greatest achievement is and she’ll say it’s the tens of thousands of dollars she’s helped raise for the numerous charities that are near and dear to her heart.
