Tribe & King

Tribe & King is an Independent Folk/Singer Songwriter created by Benjamin Jack Defibaugh. He is a proud husband and father. He is his own producer and engineer where he records in his home studio. Originally from the mountains of Pennsylvania where he was the frontman for a hardcore punk/ska band. But in 2009 moved down to Dallas Ft Worth Texas where he fell in love with the soulful sounds of the south. He began his solo folk / singer songwriter career in 2020 and has joined with other members to create a fuller lineup. Since then he has found steady and consistent growth playing in venues like the Arlington Music Hall, Tulips, The Post, Texas Music Cafe, and many others.

He has released 3 Ep's already, leading to the full album "Build me a Home". All 4 albums are a concept of building a home first with a "Stone", then a "Foundation", then the "core and shell" of the building. Thus building a home which creates the full album. "Build me a Home" to be released late 2023.

Tribe & King also proudly supports "GodLink Zambia" which provides food, schooling and education, clothes, and many other necessary needs for kids and families in Zambia. Fan support contribution at top of profile supports GodLink Zambia. No money goes to Tribe & King. God Link Zambia builds schools and provides books and clothing for schools in Zambia.
