Every Tuesday in April, four songwriters will share the stage of Toronto's legendary Cameron House. Hosted by Ian Fisher, each performance will have three different acts sharing their songs and stories "in the round" with all artists on stage all evening. On April 16th, join Ian with special guests Rebekah Hawker, Hilary Watson, and Barbra Lica.

I went to the concert at the Bassment with my sister who had seen Barbara and band perform a few weeks ago.
I loved the concert. I thought the band members were very talented and I loved their solos. I loved the music, especially the songs that Barbara had written -- they spoke to her own life and experiences, many of which are shared with others in this time! I really enjoyed her singing -- her voice, her intensity and passion -- and her expressive interpretation/presentation of the songs. I loved her "patter", the little vignettes of her life that she shared between songs. I especially loved the fact that all the band members seemed to be really enjoying themselves -- and that energy transferred to the audience who also enjoyed what was being presented. Thanks for a fabulous concert and a memorable evening.

Biographie de Barbra Lica
JUNO-nominated singer-songwriter-producer Barbra Lica has performed her songs around the world, from New York City’s legendary Birdland to international music festivals across North America and Japan. She has also recorded five full-length albums, the most recent of which (You're Fine) has amassed over 4.6 million streams on Spotify. In addition to writing for herself, Barbra has written cuts for such artists as Canadian jazz crooner Matt Dusk (Entertainment One/Universal), rising J-Pop star Harumi (Sony Music Japan), and Taiwanese pop recording artist Morrison Ma (Universal/X Entertainment).
This year, Barbra also started the Toronto Chamber-Pop Orchestra, a 14-piece ensemble featuring re-imagined renditions of Barbra's music from albums past present and future. She is also working on her first ever self-produced project, a blend of jazz, pop, and folk -country influences, slated for release in October 2022.
