Biographie de Opliam
Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist OPLIAM creates music that crosses numerous genres. The phrase “alter-native rock” is sometimes used. OPLIAM has performed in Australia and New Zealand as part of worldwide tours.
All Roads Are Good, OPLIAM’s third studio album, was released in May 2022. Throughout the rest of this year, he will be on a national promotional tour for the new project.
Additionally, in 2022, OPLIAM was included on Chicago Reader’s “Best of 2021” list, and Penguin-Random House published his first book, “Indigenous America.” It is part of a brand-new, challenging nonfiction series for young readers that explores the real history of the United States. The book garnered favorable reviews from critics and a starred review from School Library Journal.
In 2021, OPLIAM shared the stage with The Halluci Nation, also known as A Tribe Called Red, and Gogol Bordello. On his father’s side, OPLIAM is Native American, and as a musician, he has never lost sight of his roots.
