Tonic Roots began as an acoustic duo featuring Ann Berchem (vocals/keys) and Jeff Kolar (guitar/vocals), covering a diverse range of artists and genres including soulful blues, jazz, acoustic rock, reinvented classics, and original repertoire. The Tonic Roots quartet includes John Truttschel on percussion and Adam DeSombre on upright bass. Duo, Trio, and Quartet options are available to fit your event needs. Arrangements have been crafted with unique, bluesy, and artistic touches. From Etta James and Billie Holiday to Susan Tedeschi, Melody Gardot, Eva Cassidy, Sara Bareilles, Norah Jones, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Led Zeppelin, and so many more influences in between, Tonic Roots is sure to provide something special for every musical palate!
