Scott DL's Enlightenment Saloon

Guitarist/vocalist Scott DL will perform at CSPS Hall in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, May 25 at 8:00 pm, featuring songs from his latest album, Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon. Scott is backed by Gerard Estella (keyboards, guitar), Aurélie Berta (vocals), Jim Coates (guitar), Lincoln Ginsberg (bass), and Dave Nanke (drums, percussion). Scott DL is a consummate musician who has performed around the U.S. and released seven albums. He was a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival, TX in 2004 and 2007. In 2013, Scott recorded with legendary producer and engineer Bruce Swedien (Quincy Jones). In 2018, Scott moved to Cheltenham, UK to expand his musical horizons. His band included drummer Paul Arthurs (Moments of Pleasure: The Music of Kate Bush), keyboardist Peter Nemesvari (Mellowmatic), and bassist Mark Nye (SlowJin). After returning to the U.S. in 2021, Scott recorded Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon at The Artisan Studio at Brucemore, which was released in March 2023.
