Visvambhar Sheth

An internationally recognized kirtan-singer and inspirational speaker, Vish has a lifelong connection to India and its culture. He began leading kirtan when he was five years old and is a master of the Mridanga drum.
Vish has shared his love for kirtan at well-known venues like BhaktiFest, Omega Institute, Wanderlust, and Beloved. He is the lead singer of The Mayapuris, a headlining Kirtan group that has rocked stages worldwide. Vish is a multi-instrumentalist, who plays guitar, harmonium, bansuri flute, sitar, Cajon, and all types of percussion. He regularly accompanies other kirtan singers, like kirtan-pioneer Jai Uttal.
Vish speaks Hindi and moves easily between the paradigms of East and West. He has facilitated pilgrimages to various sacred sites, including the Maha Kumbha Mela, the largest spiritual gathering on earth. Vish holds a B.A. in Religion from the University of Florida. He lives in FL with his wife and three children.
