Description du concert
Latin Grammy Winner, songwriter, Diego Garcia, alias Twanguero, is a guitar prodigy who allies musical styles with astonishing ease. Renown for his "fingerpicking" technique, versatility and very unique "Twang" sound, he knows how to blend classical Spanish guitar, Latin rhythms, tango, country, rockabilly, jazz and even surf music! Lifelong music learner and explorer, he recently started a world music collective, "Los Silverbacks", blending influences and sounds from Spain, Argentina, and the Congo - among others.
Inspired by world travels & artistic encounters, their sound is a surprising fusion of Latin, Spanish and African rhythms: from Congolese Rumba through South American cumbia to Rockabilly. Their respective richness and sensibility allow them to create magical eclecticism, genuine reflection of everyone's cultural and musical roots. They make music from the heart with
a single mission: connecting people together around music and dance.
The collective brings together Twanguero (Diego Garcia, guitar & vocals), Los Pinguos (Adrian Buono, guitar & vocals, Jose Agote, bass ) & Afro Fiesta (Jason Tamba, guitar & vocals & Mermans Mosengo, percussions & vocals).
