Biographie de Lokeigh
Lokeigh is a new emo twee rock band formed in Sacramento California.
Singer-Songwriter, recording artist, and multi-instrumentalist Tyler-Ferris Masteller is the founder of Lokeigh. Masteller spent a decade building a community and a small following online and in the indie punk music scene of Central California. They are best known for playing ukulele in their former solo project I Kill Cameron in the folk punk group Dandelion Massacre. These projects are easily recognizable as Masteller’s due to his melodic, pixie-like vocal register and charming-yet-devastating lyrics.
Tyler-Ferris leaves the rag-tag, jangly, ukulele-centered sound behind with Lokeigh’s first official EP, Destined to Eat Your Flesh. This three song debut combines sweet vocal harmonies with crunchy electric guitars to reflect on past experiences with addiction, recovery, transgender identity, and love.
Lokeigh is currently a four-piece group, and can be found in the Bay Area and Central Valley areas of California: playing shows, flirting with reckless abandon, and writing demos for their first full-length album.
