Biographie de Kyle J. Glenn
Unapologetically raw and sung straight from the heart, Kyle J. Glenn’s brand of Folk/Americana juxtaposes inner monologues against triumphant declarations. His tracks ebb and flow between tension and resolution, taking listeners on a dynamic and emotionally captivating sonic journey.
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Kyle’s musical influences spanned the gamut of genres – everything from the alternative sounds of Modest Mouse to The Talking Heads and even grunge making its way into his musical palette. Today, he cites John Prine, Gillian Welch and The Mountain Goats as a few notable influences that have helped him forge his own sound and identity as an artist.
After being active in the band, ‘Taller Younger Brother,’ Kyle is currently focused on his solo material. He released his debut solo EP ‘As You Write this the Whistle Blows’ in 2020, playing shows across the United States to promote the release. Fast forward to today, and he is recording his debut full-length LP, which is expected to be released in spring 2024.
