Biographie de Bark Point.

Folk and Bluegrass music from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Bark Point. began in the summer of 2021 after a string of second hand instrument purchases when the band's founder/leader (Adam James Hildebrandt) purchased a 1960's open back banjo for 50$ off of Craigslist and a Epiphone F-style Mandolin for 100$. The project began as an outlet to learn the banjo and mandolin as well as learn to produce, mix and master the audio. Shortly after its release, "All the Way" found itself near the top of Spotify's Indie Bluegrass playlist resulting in hundreds of thousands of streams to follow. The once solo project has now turned into a full band consisting of Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo and Bass. While the band is currently based out of Minneapolis, the group has strong ties to the northland having either lived or spent significant time in the Twin Ports area. The band's name, Bark Point. is even derived from a scenic peninsula located on the South Shore of Lake Superior in the unincorporated Wisconsin town of Herbster; a place Adam has spent his summers since he was a young buck.
