Sigur Rós hefur tilkynnt að hljómsveitin sé á leið í tónleikaferðalag um Norðurlöndin þar sem sveitin kemur fram ásamt fjörutíu og eins manns strengjasveit undir stjórn Robert Ames.
Ferðalaginu lýkur á tónleikum í Reykjavík þar sem Sigur Rós kemur fram ásamt kammersveitinni Elju í Eldborgarsal Hörpu. Flutt verða lög af nýju plötunni, ÁTTA, auk margra annarra úr safninu og dagskráin spannar alla sögu sveitarinnar.

A delightful birthday gift from Sean + Nyki. I hadn't seen them since I lived in Denver almost two decades ago, when I think they were touring off the Takk album. It was great to see them again, though they weren't quite as epic or tight in their performance as back then.

Sigur Rós (['sɪːɣʏr rouːs] is an Icelandic post-rock band with melodic, classical, experimental, and minimalist elements. The band is known for its ethereal sound and lead singer Jónsi’s falsetto voice. Sigur Rós means Victory Rose, named after Jonsi's little sister.
