Kari Shaff

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Kari has been performing since "she could climb on the coffee table." While she sings professionally in many styles of American music, Jazz is her chosen genre as she loves the melodies, lyrics, and passion it possesses. An audience favorite in Austin, Kari has also performed throughout Minnesota, Arizona and Texas with many wonderful players. Her performances cover the lexicon of The Great American Songbook. Gifted with a very versatile voice, Kari can croon through an intimate dinner setting or really light up the place with a Jump Blues vibe. Kari is delighted to be performing with Women in Jazz, and she also fronts the Jump Blues & Country outfit, The Country Clubbers.
