Biographie de Philip Gibbs Music
Summary: Itinerant bluesy folk singer-songwriter Philip Gibbs, a native of Austin, TX, has played more than 2500 shows in 35 states over the past 20 years. After spending five years on the road in the early 2010s, Gibbs spent a year and a half holed up in the High Rockies, experimenting and performing with a mountain music string band called Silver City. The thaw of 2016 saw a move to Virginia. Greatly influenced by Woody Guthrie, Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan, Gibbs writes and sings from the heart, "turning simple working-class love anthems into potent, soulful jewels."
