Join Alberta old-time folk musician and ethnomusicologist Mike Tod and his band live at the Lead by Example Pow Wow at Siksika Nation.
Through invigorating, dark, cinematic reinterpretations of traditional folk songs, Tod turns black and white into technicolor while bringing old-time music to a new generation of listeners.

Mike Tod is a wry and raspy tenor that sings well-worn traditionals, researches their roots, and sets a precedent for a sound that is both rooted in history and relevant to the present day. Told through a cinematic lens, he spins old songs into brooding epics that evoke the weathered landscapes of a western noir.
