Biographie de Alec Feldges - Classical Guitar

A graduate from McGill University with a Masters in classical guitar performance, Alec Feldges is an American-Canadian classical guitarist who works as both a concert and freelance performer. He began studying guitar at the early age of six at the St. Louis Academy for Guitar in St. Louis Missouri. In 2012, Alec received a full ride Evans Scholarship to the University of Missouri where he studied under Mr. Anthony Glise, earning a Bachelors in Music Performance with a certificate in Music Entrepreneurship.

As a performer Alec has toured with the classical guitar ensemble St. Louis Bella Corda, and during his time at the University of Missouri he performed in the MU Guitar Ensemble, and MU Honors guitar quartet. He has collaborated with several Operatic singers, Flutists and Cellists. He has participated in several international festivals including the GOFI (Guitar Orchestra Festival International) in Bad Nauheim, Germany in 2010, and the "Red Sox Guitar Festival" in 2015 in Chartres, France. In 2015, Alec was invited to perform as a solo artist at the Zobel Gitarrenschule in Bad Nauheim, Germany where he gave a concert and master class. In 2016, Alec was a winner of the Emerging Artist competition at the University of Missouri.
