Jonny Kerry is a Jazz singer-songwriter, who captivates audiences with his smooth vocals, and virtuoso piano playing. His original compositions blend the classic beauty of jazz with contemporary influences, weaving stories through melody and lyricism that draw listeners into his world. Kerry's musical journey has been shaped by the likes of Jamie Cullum, Nina Simone, Norah Jones, and Madeleine Peyroux as well as the Jazz greats from the 1930s-60s. He honours these influences while carving his own unique path, refining his sound through hundreds of performances across Europe. For this show, Jonny has chosen a great rhythm section to perform with: celebrated drummer Gaz Hughes travels from far afield to work with Jonny and we're delighted he'll be making the journey down from Yorkshire to be with us; Paul Jefferies plays double bass and we're delighted to welcome back the highly respected trumpet star that is Stuart Henderson.
