Biographie de Voltage Avenue
"If we fight each other, we all lose
If we fight together, we all win"
Voltage Avenue is a poppunk band from Rotterdam, formed in 2021 by Freddy (vocals), Josh (guitar), Ray-Ray (bass) and Jeff (drums).
After a year of writing, they hit the studio to record their first couple of songs. Their first single ,"Closing The Door", released in january 2022.
Since then Voltage Avenue ignites stages with their electrifying blend of old-school poppunk grit and modern poppunk polish.
In their journey to bring their music to life, Voltage Avenue has collaborated with some of Holland's finest poppunk artists.
Adrian Delange, of the acclaimed bands "Call It Off" and "Mayleaf", produced their debut EP "Homebound", which released in september 2023.
Robin van Loenen (Destine) lent his songwriting prowess to Homebound's lead single "On My Own".
Behind the mixing board, Nick Jongejan (Between Cities) worked tirelessly to ensure that every note and nuance was captured with precision and clarity, elevating Voltage Avenue's sound to new heights.
Ilah van der Haas (Mayleaf) joined VA on their song "Worth Fighting For", lending her powerhouse vocals to create a bittersweet heartbreak-anthem.
Beyond the music, Voltage Avenue fosters a culture of acceptance and camaraderie. Everyone is welcomed with open arms in the Voltage Avenue family. It's this sense of belonging that sets Voltage Avenue apart, transforming concerts into something more, something meaningful; where strangers become friends and fans become family.
As they continue to write the soundtrack of their lives, Voltage Avenue remains committed to spreading the message that music is a universal language that transcends boundaries. So come as you are, grab a spot in the circle pit, and let Voltage Avenue remind you that in their world, everyone belongs.
