Biographie de Aortes
AORTES, formerly known as AUTISM, traces its origins back to 2012 when guitarist Tomhetas embarked on a solo instrumental project. With the release of "The Crawling Chaos" in 2013, the band's trajectory began, marked by a shift towards a heavier sound and a thematic focus on intricate storylines and ambitious conceptual narratives.
In 2016, AORTES expanded into a full-fledged live band, setting the stage for the recording of "Film Noir" in 2017. This dark and immersive opus delved deep into themes of addiction, substance abuse, and psychological torment.
"Have you found peace?" followed in 2019, a conceptual album that saw AORTES collaborating with Krzysztof from the post-metal act ROSK, marking the band's first foray into incorporating vocals into their music.
The year 2021 brought pivotal changes as Andrius joined AORTES, assuming full-time vocal duties after his appearance on the band's latest single, "Immersion." This addition marked a significant evolution in the band's sound and direction.
In February 2023, AORTES unveiled their latest full-length album, "Devouring Gloom," showcasing their continued growth and exploration within the realms of dark, immersive music.
With a history marked by artistic evolution and a commitment to pushing boundaries, AORTES remains a force to be reckoned with in the realm of experimental music, captivating audiences with their bold sonic landscapes and compelling narratives.
