His brand of American rock n’ roll is as diverse as the city he calls “home.” His fourth single “Things I Should Have Said” is a rock-ballad, written years ago while Andrew was playing Chicago rock clubs with his band Sixspeed. In between then and now, Andrew has toured the nation as the bassist for Chicago country-artist Nick Lynch playing and performing for thousands across the USA. Together they played over 1,000 shows in honky-tonks, clubs, festivals, on ABC Chicago’s Windy City Live, and with a bunch of Country Music’s greatest acts. Andrew Scott’s new single captures that essence of America, incorporating bluesy leads (by Chicago guitarist Mike O’Meara), gospel-esque organ, and heartfelt lyrics that speak to your core. It’s a song written about heartache, love, and friendship, about life and death. It is about falling apart and about moving forward.
