Absolutely AMAZING! We were blown away with their vocal talent and the command they had onstage. Can't wait to see them again. Great opener, too - The Kentucky Gentlemen. All around fantastic evening!

The show was outstanding--there was such great energy and musicianship, which led to an electric connection with the audience. This was true for both Kentucky Gentlemen and The War and Treaty.

Outstanding performance. Their energy, charisma,, skill and talent bring so much joy. Hearing the stories behind some of their songs really put the spotlight on how central compassion and empathy are to their work. I really hope they continue to blow up and gain a wider audience.

Since forming in 2014, The War And Treaty have amassed a following as eclectic as their sound itself, a bluesy but joyful fusion of Southern soul, gospel, country, and rock-and-roll. Known for a live show nearly revival-like in intensity, the husband-and-wife team of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Blount-Trotter endlessly create an exhilarating exchange of energy with their audience, a dynamic they’ve brought to the stage in opening for the legendary Al Green and touring with the likes of Brandi Carlile and Jason Isbell.
