Als je leunt op de wind van verandering, vlieg je in de richting van je bestemming. Plàsi omarmt een natuurlijke neiging tot evolutie. De Grieks-Zweedse zanger, liedjesschrijver en multi-instrumentalist begeeft zich niet op hetzelfde terrein of drijft comfortabel mee op het ritme van het verleden, maar verlegt gestaag zijn koers op zijn aankomende 2024 EP, Salamina (Nettwerk Music Group), die deze zomer uitkomt. De klagende zang wordt gekoppeld aan een weelderige sonische architectuur en de muziek lijkt op het moment dat je in een droom valt.
Samen met producer Björn Yttling (Lykke Li, Peter Björn & John, First Aid Kit) breidt Plàsi zijn sonische palet organisch uit, waarbij hij verder gaat dan de singer-songwritertraditie en filmische hoogten bereikt met een gedurfder geluid en ambitie.
Geïnspireerd door uiteenlopende artiesten als Blanco White, Henry Jamison, Efterklang en Phoebe Bridgers, heeft Plàsi zorgvuldig een welsprekende kenmerkende stijl ontwikkeld, die draden van etherische akoestische gitaar, soepele productie en warme zang met elkaar verbindt. Hij heeft internationaal getoerd met artiesten als Flóvent, Hollow Coves, Henry Jamison, Efterklang en José González.

If you lean into the winds of change, you’ll take flight in the direction of your destiny. Plàsi embraces a natural inclination towards evolution. Rather than tread the same territory or comfortably drift into the rhythm of the past, the Greco-Swedish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist steadily shifts course in his upcoming releases.
Joined by producer Björn Yttling (Lykke Li, Peter Björn & John, First Aid Kit), Plàsi organically expands his sonic palette, stretching beyond singer-songwriter tradition, and reaching cinematic heights buoyed by a bolder sound and ambition on his upcoming EP ‘Salamina’. The next single ‘Avignon’ (out April 19th via Nettwerk) marks a departure from his usual style, and creates a musical fusion that surprises even himself.
Inspired by artists as diverse as Blanco White, Efterklang , and Phoebe Bridgers, Plàsi carefully crafted an eloquent signature style, tying together threads of ethereal acoustic guitar, lithe production, and warm vocals. It evolved across 2016’s Now & Then EP, 2018’s People LP 2019’s Mystery EP, and 2022’s Foreign Sea LP. Reacting with listeners, Sorrow gathered 15M+ Spotify streams and counting, paving the way for collaborations with Axel Flóvent, Aisha Badru, and more. Along the path, he also toured internationally with the likes of Hollow Coves, Henry Jamison , and José González.
