Prisvindende live-legender Hess Is More vender tilbage til dansegulvet med nyt album
Til april 2024 udgiver det cirkulære ensemble Hess Is More nyt album med titlen CÆKE. Albummet markerer en tilbagevenden til et elektronisk univers, der klinger i grænselandet mellem pop, jazz, kraut og elektronika - som altid med hilsener til dansegulvet. I forbindelse med udgivelsen turnerer Hess Is More med en unik konstellation af nogle af Danmarks førende instrumentalister.

Biographie de Hess Is More
Hess Is More started as a solo project for Danish musician Mikkel Hess, and has over the years developed into a circular transatlantic ensemble including musicians from Copenhagen, New York and Berlin. Hess Is More has released 9 albums and a bunch of EP’s and singles.
The live septet formation, with it’s unique instrumentation and unorthodox arrangements creates a very danceable yet at times puzzling concert. Catchy melodies and chant like lyrics can haunt you for days…
The new recordings are a celebration of the energy and interplay of the live ensemble – sounding in the borderland between electronic dance music, afrobeat, krautrock and jazz.
