Located near the confluence of Pittsburgh’s three rivers, Confluence is Pittsburgh’s longest-running literary conference with a focus on science fiction, fantasy and horror in literature, art and music. Award-winning authors, editors, artists and songwriters gather for three full days, holding panel discussions, concerts and presentations. Welcoming and personal, Confluence gives the attendees a unique opportunity to meet and chat with the writers and artists who are creating the SF/F/H culture today. The conference offers a wide variety of activities including, writing workshops, panel presentations, music concerts, science programming, an art show, art demos, poetry readings, a dealers room and Saturday evening entertainment.
