Biographie de Carol Elliott

"Music is Life!"

Atlanta-born singer/songwriter Carol Elliott has a remarkable story with an ongoing, amazing career. Beginning with street-performing at Ghirardelli Square and the Cannery in San Francisco, she’s spent her life in the music industry. Her list of credentials is impressive:

Performing artist, staff songwriter at two major publishing companies in Nashville, record company exec on Music Row. She has worked with top Nashville artists such as Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks. She and Wendy Waldman won the prestigious Bronze Wrangler award from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum for their song "Corn, Water and Wood," recorded by Michael Martin Murphey on Cowboy Christmas.

A finalist in the Kerrville Folk Festival songwriter competition, Carol was invited back many times to perform main stage, as well as two Women of Kerrville tours with–Eliza Gilkyson, Tish Hinojosa, Catie Curtis, Christine Albert, and Alisa Fineman. Carol had much success in Europe, appearing on the popular Germany TV variety show, Geld Oder Lieber (Money or Love), before millions of people. She has six studio recordings of her original material--five recorded in Nashville and produced with Steve Gibson. She now lives in San Antonio, where she recorded her new 2023 release with Grammy Award-winning producer Joe Reyes.
