Sticks N' Thorns

Sticks n Thorns is a pair of lifelong best buds who grew up together in North Carolina. Twenty-five years ago, in high school, they played in a band with an even sillier name. Today, the two friends — Andy Thorn and Jon Stickley — enjoy playing music together, when they’re not on the road with their own bands, Leftover Salmon and the Jon Stickley Trio. When they’re not playing music, they’re usually chasing their toddlers, the youngest Sticks and Thorns, in the hills of Boulder, Colorado and Asheville, North Carolina. At shows, Sticks n Thorns wows audiences with their lightning-fast picking and tight vocal harmonies, playing a mix of covers and originals, and, occasionally, some tunes they wrote together back in high school.
