Ricky Dover Jr

Ricky Dover Jr is a rock musician from Nashville TN. RD was born in Houston TX, and was raised listening to his father’s rock and blues record collection in Knoxville TN. In 2011, RD moved to Nashville TN and began finding work as a guitarist, joining numerous bands of the Lower Broadway Honky Tonk cover band music scene. Then in 2017, RD had the opportunity to join on bass with Atlanta hard rock band Biters, and helped them complete their final album cycle including several high profile appearances on Kiss Kruise, Danny Wilmer music festivals and international tours with Finland’s H.I.M. Frontman for Biters, Tuk Smith, began a solo career in late 2018, and RD added guitar tracks on the album recording sessions, produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day). Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts were established in early 2019 with Smith and RD on guitar, Nigel Dupree on drums, and Shane Rickerson on bass, and quickly began playing regional live shows. The band released their debut single "What Kinda Love" on January 10, 2020, and were also added as an opening act for The Stadium Tour with Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett on the same day. TS&TRH have recorded a brand new 6 song EP scheduled for release in early 2022, and are eager to get back on the road in support.
