No grande esquema das coisas, 10 anos pode não ser muito tempo, mas para Gisela João é toda uma nova vida. “A miúda que apareceu a cantar fado de sapatilhas” - é assim que ela mesma se apresenta - tem uma década de carreira para celebrar e uma história cheia de canções para nos contar. Vai fazê-lo com dois eventos especiais, em Lisboa, Marvila, no mítico Armazém Abel Pereira da Fonseca e no Porto, no Museu do Carro Elétrico. Gisela quer encher esses espaços de pessoas, antes de mais nada: gente que a acompanhou neste percurso de uma década, artistas que com ela tocaram, que a vestiram e fotografaram, que dançaram as suas cantigas, que simplesmente lhe deram a mão. A música será central: Gisela quer voltar ao disco que a revelou ao mundo em 2013, quer voltar a entrar na casa da Mariquinhas, mas trocar a mobília toda de sítio, quer dançar viras e malhões. De sapatilhas, pois claro. A Gisela quer, sobretudo, agradecer-nos e celebrar connosco. E para isso, convida-nos a todos e todas a marcarmos presença. "The girl who appeared singing fado in sneakers" - that's how she introduces herself - has a decade of career to celebrate and a story full of songs to tell us. She will do it with two special events, in Lisbon and in Porto. Gisela wants to fill these spaces with people, first and foremost: people who have accompanied her on this journey of a decade, artists who played with her, dressed and photographed her, danced to her songs, or simply gave her a hand. Music will be at the center: Gisela wants to revisit the album that introduced her to the world in 2013, wants to enter Mariquinhas' house again, but rearrange all the furniture, wants to dance "viras" and "malhões." In sneakers, of course. Above all, Gisela wants to thank us and celebrate with us. And for that, she invites all of us to be present.
